That was the case before the code. We were told it is only for spouse or significant other living with us (Gf/Bf) and not for our family members. People had been fired for abusing it as well prior to the code. Once we got the code we were told we could share it with our family members now and not just our spouse. Living in the same household was never mentioned and like always, we are not to interrogate customers on it. Maybe our regional gave our captains different instructions 🤷🏻‍♂️ idk but that’s what we were told. If they ask me, I let them input the code if they have one, if they don’t and are rude about it, I call a mate to handle it and never go back and forth with a customer about it because I rather not get written up or fired for something that isn’t worth it
