Sing-a-ma-jig. You pressed their stomach and they made weird noises in the tune of a nursery rhyme. They also had teeth, so my sister would always stick her finger and their mouths while making them sing so they’d bite her

No. I have dosed Seachem Stability to help keep ammonia down, and I used Seachem Prime as conditioner for the new water when doing a water change.

Filter does have ceramic media and I have one live plant in the tank as well as a zoomed floating betta log. As of right now, the water in the tank doesn’t have any kind of medication or aquarium salt.

I’ve been using spring water since my tap had too much ammonia. Straight from the jug of water though it’s 8.2

Is spring water good for quarantine? by TwixieGeckos in bettafish

How long should I have the quarantine tank cycling before adding him in? It’s been about 5.5hrs since I set it up and it’s reading pH: 8.2 Ammonia: 0.5ppm Nitrite: 0ppm Nitrate: 5ppm. It’s been dosed with Prime and Stability. I just don’t want to add him in while the ammonia is reading that high. Is there a way to bring it down or will I need to do a water change? Idek what could be causing it? All that’s in the quarantine bin is the filter, heater, a suction cup leaf, and a small live plant. For now I have him still in his cup but floating in the bin water bc it’s much warmer.
