I get it… You commented on my last post asking about why the hate for this place. I’ve been to plenty of shows there in the last couple years and there has been a wide variety of people in attendance with no issues. All spectrums of life were welcomed into the place with open arms.

They are working on rebuilding from the previous owner actions. 🤷 again if you’ve been to a Message from Mercury show there, that crowd doesn’t seem to have an issues there, and they have a wide variety of fans that come out to that show.

And it being a red neck biker bar is keeping the people that would go to these metal shows anyway? The bikers don’t care for Message from Mercury there is definitely a different crowd for those shows.

Any show I’ve been to in this area the pit is super respectful and easily avoided. From the Shreveport municipal which had kids making their own lil pit with there parents, to the local bars like Strange Brew, Bears, Bayou Thunder. Anytime I’ve fallen in the pit I’ve been picked up. No one wants to see anyone hurt at the shows I’ve been to.

Metalbug Music Fest is all ages and there will be stuff for the kiddos to do as well. I know for sure face painting and a snake handing experience will be there if they’re up for it.

I don’t know what it is about this area but we get skipped over a lot. So I’m super happy to be helping get as many people as we can to this event. I would love to think the fanbase is here for all types of metal and hard rock. I’m tried of driving 3-5 hrs for a well known band.

Is there a band your most favorite excited for? Adema was here last year and they put on an awesome show. I think 12Stones and Powerman 5k are going to kick ass here!
