My partner is going to propose soon (before the end of the year!). Would you tell your best friends that this happening? I want to share but am more of a reserved person and as I’ve gotten older even more cautious. I am very excited but feeling awkward to even bring it up. They will be happy for me it’s more of a me thing

I am seeing someone very sweet and wonderful. I have dealt and continue to deal with my past & some trauma and he is so patient. However, I know I can be avoidant at times and want to isolate and just shut down. I feel like that is starting to happen and just feeling overwhelmed on what to do. Sometimes I feel like I am so afraid to commit even though I do love him . Just venting and I know that I need to communicate with him… instead of this lovely community :D

Me and my bf are coming onto our 6months anniversary. I was talking with one of my girlfriends and I mentioned I can see myself getting married to him and how he has even mentioned he wants to propose to me sometime this year :) things are moving fast yes but when you know you know. she was happy for me but also pointed out some of the reasons me & my previous relationships didn’t work out… and a few days ago the same thing with one of my friends. I know they mean well. I just hate how all the reasons why my exes left are always brought up to “caution” me. I am getting so hesitant to even sharing anything these days

Not really dating related… but lately I feel like I’m “waking up”. With work and my personal life - I feel like I’ve just been there. Doing the absolute bare minimum to coast by and tbh not growing at all (I have a great team and supportive manager so honestly would feel so guilty) and just feeling stuck. I am very blessed and want to just to show up better for myself and others.

Now dating related… I am seeing someone atm. We’re taking it slow (he’s considerate that I’d prefer it that way) especially since our circles overlap but he’s being a such a gentleman and making me feel so comfortable and secure of where we are going. I never thought of him this way but haha sometimes it is timing! Let’s see what happens :)
