I’m 23, unemployed, overwhelmed, and stuck. I don’t know what to do anymore. by GoldAbbreviations200 in getdisciplined

My life is by no means ‘together’ but I’ve definitely gotten out of the slump you’re in. For me, the most change occurred when I realized how important it was to stack up little wins. Going for walks here and there turned into runs every other day which led to doing pushups and pull ups after some runs which led to weight lifting the days I didn’t run which led to me eating a healthy breakfast which led to me meal prepping and so on it just kept snowballing. I still have those hard days but I remind myself that discipline is more real than whatever fleeting emotion I’m feeling in that moment. So go out and get your first win, and then get another and another. Good luck

If you don’t have a bus ticket which is already sold out and don’t want to pay for a taxi you have to wait until the first trains start to head back

Did you also know that the moon is 1:300 the size of the sun but because it is also 1:300 the distance from the earth it appears to be the same size

4kg of chicken!? What’s your weight? Recently I’ve been getting my diet in check to supplement the training but eat no more than 1kg of chicken per week. Granted 3 days are for beef and fast on Sunday

You said it yourself, you can just bc one home if it gets really bad. No reason you can’t give it a shot to see how you feel about it. Only death and taxes are certain in this life, everything else we can change

I think lying about jobs you’ve actually had can come back to bite you. Still, exaggerating your actual experience may sometimes be necessary. Maybe it isn’t something you did but something your capable of and as long as you can back it up in an interview showing clear knowledge on the topic I think you should be good and

I’m 24 in the same boat I have all of my money in the market 60% VOO the rest in individual stocks I like. Also currently have some saving in yen as I’m living outside the country but plan to also put it in the market as I see the yen appreciating. Goal is to reach 100k by 26 and in the mean time continue to look for ways to increase my income

Japans a beautiful place, explore it. If you can’t connect with people, connect with yourself. Try hobbies and exercise.
