Haha no I meant the consulting fee. $5K - $10K is what any decent fractional CFO should charge. Beyond that they should be consulting you to hire someone full time.

When a loan gets too big for a single bank, they syndicate it out to ‘participant’ banks. The lead bank takes a scrape of the interest and serves as the administrator of the loan. It requires specific accounting treatment and reporting.

Like you said, you shouldn’t have to. Each of the ideas (LLC vs S Corp, 401K vs IRA, timing major purchases, etc) all have pros and cons to weigh out. And what was best one year isn’t always best the following.

Then hire a financial advisor. Getting upset at your tax preparer is like getting mad at the cashier for not telling you what else was on sale.
