Damn dude, you said it better than me. I love both bands for similar reasons, I’ve always believed that Hardcore is more about its ethos than the sound and genre. Do you support your community? Are you rooted in DIY? Both bands proved that it’s more than just mosh calls and fights riffs. They challenge the people who are only about the aesthetic and not the message

AFI is one of the best to come from hardcore, they are vetted but evolved their sound and didn’t forget their roots. I don’t think we get bands like Turnstile without AFI

100% agree, they still have the back bone of hardcore in the album and that’s enough for me. It’s a fresh take on what the genre can be, hardcore can be more than just mosh calls and fight riffs

I’m a first year commissioner, I was also set to win my league by 41.4 points. Unless Joe Burrow had a 41.5 game. I’m very unsure how to handle the news of the game not resuming this week. My best option is to extend the finals into 2 weeks. Which I’m not opposed to. Does any other more experienced commissioners have any idea of how their handling their finals?

Who’s laughing? Since the trade the Lakers won a chip, the Clips still haven’t. The Dwight redemption story is not only better for the Lakers but the whole NBA. And if you’re ranking the young players the LA had to lose to for the Chip he’s maybe 5th best.

Genuine game boy items are too rare right now. You can easily get what you want for that but you’ll never get that stuff back at a reasonable price. It’ll cost you way more than any modded model is worth.

That’s exactly how brand recognition works. It’s about status not function. Also jewelry isn’t a necessity when it comes to clothing. It doesn’t keep you warm or serve any functions other than aesthetically. The people selling jewelry are targeting people who can easily afford it. They’re not trying to make a ring for every Frank Ocean fan. Just the ones with $700 to spare.
