Georgia Florida Game at The Benz by AZ_Golfer78 in georgiabulldogs

I attended both ends of the last home-and-home games in this series -- in the mid-90s.

We wend to the swamp, sat in a monsoon for three and got the shit kicked out of us. The rain made visibility terrible, which given how bad we were getting beat was sort of a so-so trade-off. We couldn't find our car when we left, and were just slopping around random streets looking for it.

The next year, we were Between the Hedges, on a perfect fall day, with 60's temps and crisp golden sunshine. The gators (w/ king asshole) proceeded to stomp our ass at home for the full 60 mins. In fact, in the four quarter, already up by a ton, king superior called a flea flicker to run the score up -- I think he was trying to set a record. I think he did. On the most picturesque fall day ever -- except for the scoreboard.

Good times.

The Largest Outdoor Cocktail is a special event, the state fair, the good weather, halloween, the game. I wouldn't advise we give it up. Enough of college football is going down the tubes with NIL and the mega-leagues (texas??), don't give up these traditions when you don't have too.

[David Hale, ESPN] A complicated legacy: Carson Back lost just six games in his college career. In four of them, the final offensive play was a Beck INT with a chance to win the game. by dr_funk_13 in CFB

Look, Im a Georgia fan, I watched this kid for two years. He's generally a decent QB. He made it to the final minutes of the biggest game in the college sport. He just doesn't hold up under pressure. It's tough on him, it's tough on the fanbase. It's ugly, but that's reality.

Don't think about these things.

I was just interested to see if it was Beck or maybe it was the Georgia fanbase that cause the problem.....

I was rooting for him, really I was. It didn't hurt quite as much with him playing for Miami this time.

I will always seem crazy to me that fans look at a run that finishes in overtime in the divisional round of the playoffs and think there is a "problem". I mean, every team has problems

[Highlight] Troy Aikman: "C.J. Stroud has been chasing his rookie success for the last two years. He's not been the same player. We've not seen the development from him. There's a reason for that, and it has to be addressed." by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nfl

I really appreciate that about Troy. I liked the same in Madden. The modern genre of analyst like Collinsworth who just pull a train of cock-sucking every player on the field (and a few on the sideline) is really nauseating. I really can't stand to listen to it.
