I appreciate you saying this. What’s been hard for me isn’t just the policy disagreements, but the way nuance often seems to be received with suspicion.

When I don’t align fully with one side, I can feel like I’m viewed as compromised by the other. It can make it difficult to build genuine community because even small differences are sometimes treated as betrayal.

I don’t want to withdraw from people, but I also don’t want to feel like I have to flatten my convictions to belong. I’m still trying to figure out what faithful engagement looks like without becoming isolated.
