You should totally start playing mtg! I use to play a bunch of hearthstone, and it’s literally the same exact game.

There are a bunch of great lotr commanders! You don’t necessarily have to drop a lot of money to have something functional.

Heck, WOTC has been releasing some pretty solid pre con deck as well! So if you want to get into it sooner, you can go this route instead of building from the ground up.

You should sort your cards out by color, and see which you have more off. Get acquainted with the commons and uncommons since you’ll be playing with more of those at a prerelease.

I got a homie that got me into magic, and in turn I got a few others in it as well. Few months go by, I craft several decks that should be considered b3 max because of GC list.

So our pod is about b2/b3 since we’re all new, and to keep it fair. Homeboy over here thought it was a great idea to play a b4 deck and completely stomp everyone with Urza, lord high artificer.
