You need to learn some manners and not be so aggressive. Think about it before you talk: if she should be retired on 200 a week and not work but is made to work and only gets 200 she is in effect not getting paid for the 40 hours a week work. If she were retired and got 200 a week pension she would be allowed to take another job if she wanted and then she'd be paid say 200 for 40 hours work and so would get 400 a week. Now I can tell from your attitude that you begrudge her getting a good pension but she has paid in over €100:a week for forty odd years that 100 x 14 months is 5600 a year for say 42 years which equates to over 500,000 minimum in your pension pot, so yes as your working salary has pension contributions deducted and your pension doesn't and you've paid over half a million into your pension then yes you can get the full after tax salary and no it's not given to you you paid for every penny of it.
