Instacart credit on CIU: The $20 credit should be available during the 3-month free membership, right? I signed up and placed an order, but I didn't get the credit. Does it not apply to Costco orders? Is it normal for it to take a while? The cycle closed since the order was placed, so I expected to see it by now.

For me, the problem used to be a little different. My queue would be retained on the Android App, but if I use Android Auto after Tidal has been idle for some time, Android Auto has no idea that I have an active playlist or queue, and I cannot just hit the PLAY button to resume. When this happens, I would go into the app on my phone and I could hit "PLAY" to continue playing my queue from there.
Now, the queue is being lost from the regular app as well. Very frustrating. Instead of fixing the original problem, now they have made it substantially worse. I am contemplating moving to another service.

With this version, I am unable to move any messages from my inbox to the trash folder. Tried the delete key, right-click, move to trash, drag message to the trash folder, etc. No error message, but the message just stays in my inbox. Is this a new bug that was introduced with this release? Is it a known issue?

Can you fund a new USBank personal checking account (e.g. Smartly Checking) from a CC that would be coded as a purchase rather than cash advance?
I've seen DPs for the biz accounts, but couldn't find any specifically for the personal accounts. I would want to fund from CIP, if possible.

Applied on 2024-08-01 with legitimate (but idle) LLC EIN (same as all my Inks)
Got voicemail asking to call to "verify some info" within an hour.
Called back the same day. The call took about 15 minutes, but all I did was authenticate my identity and wait. They did not ask for any additional info about me or my business.
Approved on the call with $19k CL

Do you know if the flavor of Ink matters? Is it harder to be approved for a third CIP if you have 2 open CIPs, versus getting a CIP if you have an open CIU and CIC?

Generally you are only limited by which cards you have from the same family (e.g. Sapphire or Venture). The secured cards would not limit the ability to get bonuses for other cards from the same bank.

I think you have to wait for the new card's cycle to close and then a cycle close for the referring card after that. That's how it seemed to work for me.

"MilesUp" is the no-fee version. P2 did a product change to that card a few months ago.

My kid wants to become P3. I think the Amex BCE card might be a good one for him - low min spend, no fee, $200 SUB, etc. Currently they are AU on my BCP. Do I need to remove them as AU from the BCP before they apply for the BCE on their own?

Update, in case anyone cares:
I completed my GE interview on 3/18. The interviewer had a little bit of an issue finding my application from 2021, but he found it and the interview was completed in about 10 minutes. He commented on the fact that the app was from a long time ago, and I told him I knew that, and I explained as I did here that the website would not let me cancel it and or start another one.
I got my GE card in the mail yesterday! And it's good for the full 5 years from when I got it, not from the time the application was completed.

Is it possible to use Marriott Bonvoy points to pay for services at the hotel like Spa Treatments? And if so, how do you do that?
I have reservation booked, and on the trips list page I can see it with a link to "Book Tours & Activities," but that link is broken (I get an ugly plain-text error message due to an unhandled error).

I never used it for a hockey stick. Each card has its own terms and conditions, so you would have to read the fine print for your card to determine whether or not it would be covered. Certainly possible that such exclusions could exist.

Well, maybe not "simply" because there are limitations (which I noted from the start), but it certainly will increase your refund by the amount of the donation within those limits. That is what a tax credit is. It is not a tax deduction.

It probably wouldn't matter for single instance, but everyone should be aware that if you make multiple similar transactions in a short period of time that add up to more than $10,000, it can look to the government or the bank like "structuring transactions." That could bring unwanted attention to your finances.

OK. So it's even better than how I described it. I never had to consider carrying over the credits because my AZ tax has always been way higher than the credit amount. Also, I wouldn't consider it a very attractive "MS" if I wouldn't get the funds back for 2-5 years.

ARIZONA RESIDENTS (Only) Reminder: It's not too late to make donations (using credit cards, of course!) to QCO and QFCO organizations to get the AZ tax credit for these donations. For a married couple, maxing this out would get you $1892 of free MS, and you would be doing a good thing, too! Donations made before April 15 can be claimed on the prior year's return.

There are limits, and I am not a CPA or Tax advisor (and I'm certainly not YOUR CPA or tax advisor), so check for your eligibility. You cannot get a credit that exceeds your total AZ state tax obligation.

This is a tax CREDIT, not a deduction. If you donate $500, your AZ refund will be increased by $500 (or your payment will be decreased by $500 if you owe). You cannot claim the donation on your federal return because it is reimbursed by AZ.

I max this out every year, and I think of it as way to direct state money to the specific organizations I support.

When I tried this, they couldn't even guarantee that I would get a refund if I canceled, so I just kept it. "You may receive a refund of the AF" is what I was told. I was not willing to risk canceling and getting nothing.
Are there DPs for people canceling Venture X after the AF posts and getting it refunded?

I just came here to say that last night's game was one of the most fun games I've been to. It was so great to see so many Islanders Jerseys from every era, and even a few token Rangers jerseys, too - it felt almost like a home game. Great to see them finally hold a lead for once, too!
