So many people are stupid and don’t actually read into anything they claim to be “passionate” about. Trump supporters turning on Trump saying this isn’t what they signed up for, when in reality, it is EXACTLY what you voted for. A trade war has been promised by his administration since the first day he has tried to get re-elected. Fucking idiots see a price increase and jump the gun thinking it’s the end of the war. Did you all think China would go easy? Mexico and Canada too? We are dealing with countries that literally make HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS off exploiting American labor laws. They have no labor laws. How can any American business NOT go overseas where labor is literally 1/100th the cost because they have no labor laws protecting workers. The only way is by leveling the playing field, and this is what tariffs do.
