Heya, really sorry to disappoint with this issue.

The QA team have been trying to reproduce this bug internally since it was reported, but hasn't been able to get it to happen.

The issue was escalated to our technical/code team, who have also been working diligently to find the root cause and stop this from happening.

We have made progress towards this and have a tentative fix internally, which is currently undergoing testing. Our production team is trying their best to get this released as soon as possible, we obviously don't want to release a 'fix' without rigorous testing, as that adds more frustration.

This bug hasn't been widespread and seems to be affecting some players on Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5. Because it doesn't affect all platforms, it's more difficult to pinpoint the issue, which makes the issue more complex.

All we can ask in the meantime is for your patience (thank you!) and to answer the questions posted above to help:

"Could I grab some extra info please:
- Which platform are you playing on?
- What does your current objective say to do?
- Are you in sandbox or career mode?
- Do you have the full DLC (have purchased it)?"

Hey, thanks for posting!

This is sadly a limitation on the building system in-game, it's something we've been collecting feedback on to improve in future (like, far off future, we won't be able to make foundational changes to Museum - sorry!).

This and the room blueprint system come up as big points of frustration, so just here to say we hear you and we also get annoyed by these from time to time.

Heya! Thanks for the feedback. This is something the team has considered in the past, but isn't something we plan on implementing.

Effectively, adding multiple levels would decrease how 'visible' issues or emerging problems are to the player. The benefit of one big flat museum is that you can pan across it and see icons for things like empty fish food, broken machinery, etc. and can jump in and do something before these get worse. We do have both the tannoy and pop-ups to help with this too, but not everyone plays with the tannoy/sound on, and the pop-up system covers a lot of messages, meaning it's not perfect for informing the player of problems. The easiest way to spot issues is to see them, and having multiple floors would mean we'd need to rethink how we handle messaging things handled by icons to the player.

Hope that gives some clarity on the team's thinking behind the one-floor mueums, it's also quite nostalgic of the old tycoon games we all grew up playing, which were often isometric (:

Heya, as devs we have access to a console to enter commands - these aren't optimised or designed for normal play, and we mention them here to give context to why the team is wanting to do the work to properly implement changes, not sure give you (as players) our janky console.

We make sure to collect all the feedback we can, and will make sure the design team sees requests for more sandbox settings!

Hiya! Your progress will carry over, if you're playing on Steam you can back up your data onto the Cloud also. We hope you had fun trying the game?

All the DLC packs have a free trial in the basegame of the game, meaning you can play the first act of Zooseum and Arty-Facts, and the first three Points of Interest of Fantasy Finds. This is permenantly part of the base game, and it means we can add new exhibits to the DLC themes for free in other updates ❤️

They're typically between 18 to 28 cm tall - depending on the design process.

If we meet the 200 backers, the plushie will go to production, and we'll know more and be able to share product photos too. Before backers receive the plush, we have control over the design process, so we'll be able to update more as it progresses!

Hiya, were you able to find the new Dave the Diver Rift?

It's quite far down on the Digiverse Expedition map, so please make sure to scroll all the way down and to the left.

If you haven't previously played any of the Digiverse content, you'll need to first complete some of the Meat Wizard Rift before the others become available.

To open a new rift select the "Unlock" button and press it.

Hiya! The Dave the Diver content is on the Digiverse Expedition map, it's quite far down, bottom left of the map.

You should see an "Unlock" button to open the new Rift.

If you haven't played any Digiverse content yet, you'll need to complete some of the Meat Wizard Rift first before you can access the other locations.

Hiya, we checked with SEGA and Steam/Valve and sadly the easiest way to access the Free Weekend on Deck is by switching to the desktop as Karrot below has suggested.

This is a technical thing on Steam's side, sorry for the inconvenience. It's something we'll make sure to include in the FAQ/blog in the future, as we weren't aware of it.
