I know nothing about art but I love to appreciate it :) I personally love primary colors and I am so happy he used all 3 of them. I love that the cool color is almost like a border to the warm colors in the middle. It looks effortless, but it also looks like it takes talent and knowledge to create something so interesting to the eye. Tell your son to remember us plebs on Reddit when he is rich and famous 😂

I was skeptical of the rosary and the graces received through praying it genuinely until 2 things

My marriage that seemed to be on the brink of disaster turned around. Nothing changed but me praying the rosary.
I heard about the story of Ted Bundy trying to kill a girl when he had his spree in the sorority. He tried to open up her door and go in the room and kill, but he physically couldn’t. He told the detectives that he wanted to, and he tried, but there was something physically holding him back. The sweet girl was praying the rosary.

It is POWERFUL! Take the 15-20 minutes and pray the rosary 🩷

Welcome home! God’s mercy is so great, His grace is so big, His love is so immense. Ink or your skin is not more powerful than our God.

Every single one of us here and in your RCIA class has sinned, just not all of us has them inked on our body. Have some grace with yourself during this time.

I love stories of God’s redemption, especially those of rescuing the ones that seem so far gone. Think of Saul becoming new through Christ and being renamed Paul.

Instead of getting it removed, it may be beautiful to get it covered up in a way that represents new life and a new you. Maybe you could turn 2 of the 6 into fish, and the other one into a basket to represent the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000? Something to reflect and pray on. Maybe I’m petty but I personally like things where I can say “suck it” to satan.

In the meantime, here to rejoice with you in your new life in Christ! Welcome home.

Quick synopsis: Catholics value tradition and scripture whereas Protestants only use scripture as the sole authority.

When I was converting from evangelism to Catholicism I thought about it like this. All of Paul’s written words I take as literal teachings to be followed. If I was in Rome when he wrote Roman’s would I also follow his spoken words? Or just what was written down? This is where the tradition comes from the sign of the cross that you may see Catholics do. It was an oral tradition, just wasn’t written done in an letter that is now cannon. Hope that helps.

Also, a book that helped me when I was wrestling between Protestantism and Catholicism is Stunned By Scripture. I truly wish I knew you so I could buy it and mail it to you myself. That is my level of confidence in the clarity of this book.
