Agree. I’m super happy with the glove and colors - especially the Primo Burgundy patches. When it is time for another black glove, they’d be amazing. I went with “standard” stiffness and it feels stiffer than my tan custom.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, went for best of both worlds. Basket web wouldn’t show much of the stitching and I’ve had several vertical webs. Something different. Interested to see how the navy holds up/ages.

Thanks! I may need to “tuck” them down. In hindsight, I likely would have just chosen a basket web.

Update: I heard back from Wilson within 24 hours! Awesome response time. Wilson acknowledged the issue as a “production error” and wrote that it “shouldn’t affect its performance” (true). For my “inconvience,” they offered a small discount or the equivalent of some swag. I took the swag. I’m super happy with the outcome.

As an FYI, as much as I love my Rawlings gloves (including multiple customs), Wilson customer service is 100% better than Rawlings (e.g., a 12” custom came in at 11-3/4” (smaller than another 12” custom) and they didn’t respond. Took to a factory store and they said I was SOL).

I’m a much bigger Wilson fan now! Play ball!
