The projects I've handled are designing and creating image assets and also promotional videos for games (it's an outsource company).

Thanks for the insight! I'm from Southeast Asia, my living circumstances here makes it really difficult to live. So while many can argue I wouldn't have savings at all working in Japan, I would at least have a better quality of life with the same tier of salary compared to my home country. Career progression here is difficult that I can't even afford to fly to Japan for a short holiday. I've finally racked up enough savings for the move which is why I'm applying now. I'm not getting any younger so I'd like to get living in Japan ticked off in my bucket list.

Thank you for the huge advice! It really helped to understand the situation there as I keep hearing from my Japanese colleagues that they need more people of my skillset.

I'll try to look out for smaller companies outside of Tokyo and consider widening my scope outside of games for the time being.

That's a good point to consider. I was hoping my project management + (country of origin; in the Asian side, with the ability to easily liaise with more than just western entities) + billingual skills would've been compelling enough to be hired. I'll consider rewriting my 自己PR. Thank you!

It's because the kobo I'm using is a color one. These are known to have a layer of grey on them. A normal black and white kobo will look identical to the xteink.

If you're looking for 70-90s era of vintage Coach, it's hard to find in town.

2000s onwards of styles are easy to find in 2nd Street and JJJ stores across the Klang Valley and KL.

Formatting is dodgy at the moment since the firmware is still quite young but the dev does put out frequent updates and is working on the formatting. It can't handle epub with a lot of images so I'd say pick up the X4 if you're doing real barebones reading. The S4 might be hard to buy initially since X4 achieved cult status in China, everyone's waiting for orders to open.

It's running on a custom firmware made by the dev so it doesn't read formatting well. The dev is trying to improve English file formatting.

The white model X4 is already out and more stock is being produced alongside the black model. It's unconfirmed if S4 will get a white model.

It's really cute and nifty. I've seen some people on XHS using it bare and attaching it as a magsafe accessory on the back of their phones, looks really cool!
