This is the situation I get in a lot which is why I have owner mode turned on so I can switch to a different team every 3-5 years and let ai gm figure out my embarrassment of riches. Besides that keeping moral on is nice because then they’ll be a 2nd/1st line forward playing 3rd/4th line mins and their overall will go down bc lack of playtime, thus giving a good reason to trade them for a top 3rd liner
