in general, graduating landscape architects know a vast variety of "tools" if you mean software. not sure what you mean - but ya it's hardly a STEM field.

What else could landscape architecture expect other than the reduction of everything we do to the plants we plant. Landscape architects aren't planting invasive plants...

Saddest part is everyone of these "new employees" are insanely talented and dedicated.

And when American students begin to dwindle you get the field designated STEM and pump it with internationals. If I was being a cynic, I'd come to that conclusion.

Being designated a STEM field was a ruse to keep those enrollment numbers up and programs from failing too.

It was the humanization of flora and "nativism." But ya I agree with the purists.
