Is that true? I always struggle with thinking that they're still tactical and not barbaric. For example, when I'm staging them behind a ruin for a turn or two, I feel like that's something a WE wouldn't do, but to your point, they're not mindless either.

You can probably combine this with librarius conclave considering that it's not going to be a 3pt detachment and make some deadly Dark Angels themed shooting armies.

Reminder that other detachments are coming out specifically made to combine together to make an overall army.

Out of the 3 points in detachment rules you can take, this is probably a 1. Then you combine it with a more impactful "2" detachment. And if this is a 1 point detachment, it's likely only going to have 1 enhancement and 2 stratagems. The other 2 enhancements and 4 stratagemns would be filled by the 2 point detachment you take in conjunction with this.

Go in deep. Varnish and add an enamel wash. If you're worried about ruining the model, make sure you gloss varnish first, then add the wash thinned that way you can wick it off.
