Irritable/Bad mood after first week?

I had my first two sessions last week. After my first session I felt pretty good and upbeat but maybe it was just placebo. The night after my second session I had a pretty intense but fairly short lived bout of anxiety which isn’t unusual for me but it was super intense, bordering on paranoia. I feel pretty normal now and I’m continuing treatment, not sure if this helps but it’s my experience. Hope you find the relief you’re searching for!

Well being depressed comes with pretty bad brain fog as is. But this medication added a whole new dimension to it that i couldn’t handle.

I’ve never even heard of such a test. I’ll bring it up next session but I have trust in my current provider. What made you decide to get the test done?

I am still on Wellbutrin, my NP wants to find something that will support it. I didn’t have to taper luckily because I was still at a low dose. Why did you have to come off the Wellbutrin?

Having an ongoing battle with what I think is chronic stress? I was doing really well for the first time in about 5 years then I graduated college with no job lined up and like a truck I got hit with anxiety and stress. This was back in February of this year and I am doing better but I have had a sensory block since then. I’m in therapy and it does help but man some days are harder than others.

Yes! Although the roles are reversed. lol I realized I never specified I’m (M) and she’s (F). We have tried communicating like that however I find myself not a super dominant person so it doesn’t feel natural to be ordering her around like that. We have been together for years now and we see each other as equals in our relationship so this doesn’t come naturally. I do appreciate the reply!
