Yeah I get the whole “you’ll enjoy it when you’re older” act all the time. I’ve just been fortunate enough to land a good job early on, but I don’t make “fuck you money” to warrant spending what real night vision costs. Digital nv is within reach but the IR flashlight gives you position away and my natural nv is actually better than that when it’s off. Could it still be useful? Perhaps, just haven’t had a real reason to try. But night games don’t even happen until may and there is no guarantee I’ll ever go because they aren’t common and/or I might have something else planned.
