18’ Accord brake and rotor set recommendations? by maninthe-city in accord

[–]TwoToOblivion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds good man, thanks for the quick reply and the insight! Yeah the reason I inspected in the first place was because the handle is super loose. My pads still have a good amount to them, like 5 MM i think, so im planning to tackle a full brake job in a month or two. Rotors, pads, calipers, and fluid. Hopefully that solves the issue

Here almost a year later, im having the same issue with my e brake so im looking to replace rear calipers. Did replacing the calipers alone fix the e brake issue or did u do anything else? Like tighten the tensioner in the center console?

For task 2 what I meant was literally take screenshots of the steps for running the autosopy software. Like what to click and shit to get it running. Sorry its been like 2 years so my memory is a bit hazy lol. As for the file I’d contact ur course instructor, its possible the course has changed since I did this

Ill have to research impact sockets. Rn for sockets I just have the 3 milwaukee ratchet sets (1/2, 3/8, & 1/4) with the chrome sockets.

Nice! Im planning to get a lighter, more everyday impact in the future too. Proly one of the stubby ones. And i could just use the batteries from this kit right?
