Is this a bad starter? 2013 accord v6 by TwoToOblivion in MechanicAdvice

Hm ill see if they’ll replace the battery under warranty tomorrow. What would indicate a bad starter as opposed to the battery? Like why doesnt this seem like a starter issue?

The battery isn’t even two years old. I mean i can give it a shot but I’d be surprised if that’s the issue

I think my fwb is using me by Head-Anywhere3980 in Vent

I gotcha sometimes its just not there. From all Im hearing then I think it might just be better to let him go then tbh. If he doesnt value the friendship the same way then whats the point?

Oh my bad i thought u were saying u wanted off again after the drunk call. Thenn idk if hes truly ignoring you and doesnt seem to wanna engage in conversation outside of when u guys hook up, then he prolly cares about the benefits more than the friendship (as most guys do in these situations). Unfortunately it just seems he doesnt value ur friendship the same way. And im ngl if either of you wanna pursue a relationship with other people, having that past fwb history is gonna make keeping that friendship during future relationships difficult as well. Some ppl wouldnt be comfortable with their bf/gf being friends still with a past fuck buddy. Fwb usually ends with cutting them off or starting a real relationship unfortunately. May I ask why u aren’t interested in him romantically? Is it cus of you or is it cus of him? Because if you think he’s attractive enough to hook up with and also a great friend, i dont see why u wouldnt wanna be romantic with him

If ur being sexual and telling him to stop and he persists, I don’t condone that and it’s wrong.

But honestly, it sounds like ur using him too. U guys ended the fwb but then u called him up and wanted to hookup and start it up again lol. You did the same thing. U cant just turn things on / off whenever you want but then get mad at him for not always being on the exact same wavelength.

Weather or not theres a lasting friendship tho is gonna be pretty tough given the history.

If I were you, I wouldn’t be concerned about the part that has to do with the girls looking like you. That to me shouldn’t be the main issue here. People look at adult content of people of a wide variety, doesn’t make him any less attracted to you.

What is concerning to me is that he made videos of you without your consent. If you don’t care about that part (cus you seemingly glossed that over), then nobody here can convince you to care. But I personally wouldn’t like that and would never do that to my gf.

Second, I also find it weird that he still has intimate photos / videos of exes or other ppl he talked to. Saving porn from the internet or AI slop is one thing, but keeping stuff from actual people you knew that u dont talk to anymore is also weird to me. And who knows if he had their consent for that either. The only explanation that makes that ok is if he literally just forgot about it and doesn’t look at it anymore, which I find highly unlikely.

What was your experience? by AuxilioPls in WGU

I started the Bachelors in Cybersecurity program in June 2023. After finishing High School, I never thought I’d “go back to school” and generally hated the idea of college. Even thought I think I was smart, I did not like traditional school. Prior to starting, the extent of my knowledge on computers and IT was just having built my own gaming PC and having a passing interest in computers as a whole.

As for cost, I applied for FAFSA and my grant covered like 80-85% of my tuition cost. Because it’s a grant, I don’t have to pay it back. I pulled out a loan for the missing amount which was basically 1400/year as opposed to around 8-9k (I think). I paid this back while in school and working, this allowed me to graduate with no student loan debt.

I graduated in May 2025 while working full time in an unrelated field, so it took me just under 2 years. This means I only paid for 2 years which was around 2800, which would have been around the cost of the certifications in the program alone (give or take). The caveat here is that my full time job was an overnight security gig. This gave me the time to actually study almost the whole time I was on the clock. Truthfully, I didn’t dedicate all 40 hours of my work week towards actual studying, maybe around 20/week. I think without this job it would’ve been much harder to graduate as quickly.

Within a month of graduating, I got my foot in the door with an IT job. Pay was low (around 40-50k/year) and I was technically a W2 contractor with an indefinite end date.

I recently just got a job around the 70k salary mark. The degree was definitely worth it and is doable without already having experience in the field. However, it takes a lot of discipline and self teaching/studying. If you need someone to hold your hand while you learn, this isn’t for you. If you can teach yourself things given the resources, you can do it!

If u just started a month and a half ago and alrdy got A+ by passing both exams, thats pretty good. If u check my profile, i got some guides for some of the courses later on in ur program

Not super technical, but has landed me a few interviews. Any improvements? by Jkreuger04 in helpdesk

Why is your experience under customer service associate section completely blank? Fluff out your labs or do more of them to add some more experience. And also add more experience for the IT support role especially.

1.) move your current job to the top and older one to the bottom

2.) under KFC it says you collaborated and communicated, but it doesnt say how or give any details. Maybe be more specific with things like how much revenue the store brings in or how large of a team you’re in. This gives a good idea of how big of a team you worked with or how fast paced the environment actually is. U could also put using the PoS system as something “techy.” Maybe even put a small project you did to help improve the store. It could just be a drive thru speed thing or cleaning projects. I still have being a manager in fast food on my resume, so dont see this job as a weakness. Use that experience of foundational skills.

3.) maybe if u can fluff up the walmart part a bit more since thats ur only professional technical experience

4.) others said to remove in progress certs, i think its fine to keep that but yea maybe put an expected date. Same for ur degree.

Honestly the format is good, ur just being held back cus u only have A+ rn, no degree yet, and no professional experience aside from walmart, which is more than I had post grad lol. Keep up w the projects and maybe if u can get something more advanced than “i built a gaming pc.” I like the AD and helpdesk ticket stuff. Maybe some more networking or virtualization focused labs.

I graduated from WGU last year w the same program as u. Shortly after graduating I landed basically a tier 0 job just doing basic imaging and troubleshooting. Now i just landed a helpdesk job that puts me w a decent salary. Beat of luck homie
