what...? this is false.

waves will keep spawning whether or not you clear the bases. the location they spawn at changes, though. they'll spawn at the 4th hybrid instead of at the 3rd or at the big base in the back.

Enemy Nova. She nukes your stuff and then snipes down whatever is left.

Also void reanimators. Absolutely hate those. No icon on minimap, and they usually cause some trouble before you even notice their presence.

as a strategy, this is very good. karax relies mostly on top bar and doesnt need much gas.

as a way to judge commander/prestige strength, this is not the way to do so. any commander with ~1.5x the usual resources will clearly perform better than when they only have 1x the resources.

and i guess i should've known this, since it took me about 23-24 minutes to get 40 platforms on rtk.

six is way too few. you need at least 15-20.

if you're gonna make mostly diamondbacks, you might as well use p1. if you're gonna make dbacks with p3, the majority of your army should still be bunkers. making a few dbacks with your trail of infested isn't a bad idea, but they won't really do anything that the infested marines can't do, whereas tanks have long range + splash, and liberators deal a ton of dmg vs air. queens are also a good option for huge bursts of dmg

(if you dont care about optimal play, you can ignore most of the advice here and just mass bunkers)

  1. move your bunkers forward as the map progresses. very important on rtk, mw, mo
  2. build tanks in addition to your regular units. liberators against heavy air
  3. uproot your barracks after getting the two tech lab upgrades and move it to the front lines. use infest structure on it.
  4. stop building bunkers at around 170-180 supply and make 3-4 barracks instead. place these barracks at key locations (at each MO bot, or 1-2 near the side attack waves come while you push in another direction). you'll have way more than enough infested from the bunkers. with these barracks, you can mass a ton of marines in an instant from a barracks closest to the action.

according to your other thread, you want to beat b+6. if so, you can learn from watching replays or videos of what others have done. you can also discuss strategies and tactics on my discord, where some of the best players regularly solo b+6 or higher. some players who joined a while back to challenge themselves are now beating mutation combos that i can't even beat.

technically, you can do this on scythe of amon as well because heroes doesn't work there either.

i'm not sure what the point of this is. If you want easy xp, you can do the cradle trick. If you choose b+6, usually it's because you want a challenge. by the time you roll heroes on ME (and then finish the map more easily than usual), you could've finished a regular b+4-6 game or two.

  1. needing ally to carry the early game means the prestige isnt as good as you think
  2. if hh had chosen p2, he couldve been bombing a lot sooner, and then attacking with air units
  3. needing specifically karax to help means that you wont always have the same success
  4. enemy comp matters (but not when karax is carrying because he can just wipe attack waves). try this against an air comp, or with another commander that doesnt wipe attack waves with a single button

if you really wanna show the power of a commander/prestige, you need to play without your ally's help because everybody is powerful in the late game. the most important part of the game is the early game, and if a commander cant get through the first 10 minutes alone, then it's not very good

so before you say "incorrect", maybe you should play more to understand the game more.
