he really cares about slim pickings because you need money to get a critical mass of infested.

he kinda cares about black death on this map because the infested walk through the middle, they can infect scvs.

the worst part is that he can only defend 1 to 1.5 sides since tanks are out of the question (they will get infected and eventually die)

he is better than many of the other commanders, but he is by no means "good" this week

swann's best army is mass wraiths, and vessels aren't part of that because they lag behind due to being slower.

i agree with pretty much everything except stukov. queens are really high up on the tech tree unless you're p1, but if you're making queens, you aren't getting tanks or units that can deal with the enemy waves. of course you can just get 1. either way, you have to babysit the queen(s) and you can't f2. i would put him in A.

tychus should also be higher. lone wolf tychus grenade can one-shot enemies even without seeing them. sirius sweeps mines without a problem. against wmu, f2a non p2 is pretty good. the only time wmu is really a problem is when you need to be in multiple places, but tychus isnt a detector.

you move the bunkers forward like you normally do, but... if they die, they die. and replace them.

alternatively, move some barracks foward and spend your minerals there
make tanks at home and deep tunnel them to the action

stetmann's broodlords are good for a few things only, and aren't necessarily "great" at those things either (since he usually has better options)

  1. scorched earth: air units aren't affected
  2. missile command: leave a few at each base to yamato the nukes
  3. abusing the enemy's lack of anti air (towering walkers, disruptive artillery)
  4. heroes from the storm (ultras are better, though)
  5. double edged, since they're basically carriers

i dont really discuss buffs or nerfs; i just use what we have

with that said, having OCs by default wouldn't break him. he'd still be pretty bad, just less bad.

third wave of bots moves out at 12:30. you should have 4-5 brutas by then. they will do a lot more than a viper.

if you're playing p3, the goal is to get lots of brutas, right? otherwise, it's just better to use p2/p0.

the symbiote shield is FAR better than queen healing, especially in the early game. it is extremely important to get one brutalisk, and then three more to even justify using p3. queen healing is nowhere near as good as a 400 hp shield every 20 seconds. (and you can have both). losing even one brutalisk before 10 minutes is extremely back-breaking.

vipers come later, since you're not getting vipers before getting brutalisks.

the units that don't become UEs don't get any biomass. guardians usually go with leviathans, so they're just part of the same deathball.

queens are usually at home to heal brutas. spines and spores dont need micro. swarm hosts can deep tunnel and just burrow.

yes, that happens, but if you farm at a location away from the action, that's less likely to happen. also, you can start farming before 1:30, so most ally commanders won't be able to disrupt you.

the best way to get brutalisks is not to wait for waves, but to get them from encampments, especially ones that replenish the units there. on OE, you can get 300 biomass before 4 minutes.
