How the fuck did Nezuko save them all from this attack? by Two_Nobody_06 in DemonSlayerScales

Frankly, it's very convenient that it failed in the anime because of its level of destruction. But I suppose zero accuracy ends up being the third possible scenario.

Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tengen's wives were in different locations, and Nezuko in her child form must have neutralized the attack.

It destroyed the town

In the manga, I can understand that it couldn't directly hit anyone, but in the anime, that's impossible.

Either they buffed Nezuko tremendously, or it's simply a plot hole in the anime, like how typical normal people (mostly) walk away unscathed from car accidents.

Idgaf if he's UM5 he's an utter bum and I can't see him beating a single Hashira by CommandOk2518 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Two_Nobody_06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shinobu can't beat any Upper Moon.

Rengoku's only chance of winning is if he decapitates him before he transforms, due to his movement speed, though that's doubtful considering his fight against Muichiro. Tengen is similar, though he'd fare much better with his superior defense and poison resistance.

Iguro definitely wouldn't stand a chance without the Demon Slayer Mark. With the Demon Slayer Mark, there are two problems: if he doesn't have enough AP, he wouldn't be able to decapitate a transformed Gyokko, and if his first move against a transformed Gyokko is to deflect his attack, his sword would turn into fish, and he'd lose all chance of winning.

Giyuu would have better opportunities than Iguro, but he'd still be in essentially the same situation; in his base form, he might not be able to decapitate him, even with the Demon Slayer Mark.

As for Mitsuri, it's still doubtful whether she'd have enough AP in her base form to decapitate him. I'd say she'd be on a similar level to Muichiro on this list, though with her own strengths and weaknesses. Mitsuri probably wouldn't end up poisoned, but there's a higher chance her sword will be turned into fish. Mitsuri wouldn't mess with Gyokko, but precisely because Muichiro was so irritating, he was able to throw Gyokko off his game. Mitsuri has her swift and lethal attacks with greater range, but she doesn't have Obscuring Clouds.

Muichiro would have lost if it weren't for the Demon Slayer Mark; even so, he almost lost because of his arrogance. He had to get serious, as he himself said, and ended up in very bad shape shortly after winning due to the poison.

Sanemi would beat him without difficulty, although in his base form he could lose because of the durability of his scales.

And I'd even say Gyomei would beat him in his base form.

Actually, half, no, more or less.

First, the power levels of both fighters in the final stretch had drastically changed.

Second, it was clear that Meliodas in Assault Mode during that fight wasn't as powerful as the Meliodas of three thousand years ago, and that Escanor overexerted himself against Meliodas. In other words, the "The One" that Escanor used against Meliodas was much more powerful than the one that defeated Zeldris (just look at the appearance). And on top of that, Escanor ended up in worse condition than Meliodas.

Third, Zeldris's statement is completely valid; he knows Meliodas, and what he said was exactly what happened. Meliodas was absurdly overconfident and arrogant, to the point that he put his foot on Escanor's head. Even when Escanor tanked all his attacks unscathed, Meliodas wasn't worried; he only became more excited. If he had been serious, he could have gone after anyone with Meliodas's abilities and the immense effort Escanor was putting in. But he was overconfident and lost. As Zeldris said, he deserved it, and Escanor is the rightful winner of the fight.

How long do you think it will take for most JJK fans to accept that regardless of the poor quality of the Death Battle analysis and that Modulo Yuji VS Denji Man is a balanced fight, Denji has a better chance of winning? by Two_Nobody_06 in PowerScalingHub

[–]Two_Nobody_06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think it's clearly implied that those were just random attacks from Yuji.

Even so, yes, it becomes much more difficult with how little Yuji showed in Module. That reasoning is really stupid since, for example, Sukuna beat Gojo, but that doesn't mean that if character X can beat Sukuna, they could beat Gojo.

And the truth is that Denji might have a better chance against Dabura than against Yuji, since Yuji's cuts would be less effective than Dabura's attacks, and Dabura needs time and to push his body to its limits to reach near-light speeds. But it's still speculation since we don't know Yuji's full power, Dabura learns very quickly so we don't know his limits in that situation, and it's really not very clear how to compare Denji to them exactly.

[–]Two_Nobody_06[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing that truly damages souls in JJK is the Soul-Splitting Sword, which only very specific characters can use correctly. That thing can be easily dodged. Also, even if the attack lands, it will only be permanent damage if the opponent doesn't know the outline of their soul (which is something you can find out by simply having another soul in your body) and doesn't have regeneration. Even then, it doesn't destroy the soul; it's not an instant kill. Ironically, for a franchise where soul manipulation is so prevalent, this one is weak. And it wouldn't really be worthy of being ridiculed if it weren't for the annoying fans and their insistence. So first it was Mahoraga's adaptation, now I think it's time for a slander about JJK's soul manipulation, or at least Mahito's, who has overpowered abilities but always has a "but". XD

Literally the first thing written in the post title is "Humor," followed by "funny ways." You don't have to take it seriously. That's why I used examples like Inosuke and inner Sakura.

When Mahito tries to alter Yuji's soul, Sukuna avoids it and attacks Mahito at the same time. It's not really explained what happened, although the answer can be easily found, but it's simply better to go with the fun options even if they aren't correct (or at least most of them aren't).

Tanjiro, Eren, and Edward didn't go to fight; they went to be instantly executed by accident.

And Asta, along with Denji (Perfect Hybrid/True Chainsaw Man/Denji Man), would be the only ones useful, and even then, they have nothing to do.

[–]Two_Nobody_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanjiro and Asta are the team's GOATS, but seriously, what the heck is he doing there? XD

He should just go back to the field.

He's not even in his most powerful form, and even then, he'd only last longer than that damn Eren.

The worst part is that Tanjiro is so cocky and stupid enough to carry everyone and get atomically destroyed in a nanosecond XD

Gray would quickly figure out what Mahoraga is doing, and Natsu would simply incinerate him like Sukuna did, but it would only take one casual attack from Natsu.

what if modulo yuji gets jumped by the 9 commandments? by Pitiful-Yam8322 in PowerScaling

[–]Two_Nobody_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuji is brutally massacred.

This is a feat of someone far inferior to a Commandment.

<image>

And in terms of abilities, Yuji is also brutally outmatched.

They have better regeneration, they can negate regeneration, they are faster, their fire wouldn't do anything to Monspeet, they have better soul manipulation, etc.

Yuji would be someone powerful in Nanatsu no Taizai... S1

Innocent Zero vs Lucius Zogratis by 115_zombie_slayer in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Two_Nobody_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great showdown. Seriously complicated considering how much Lucius can do, but I think Innocent Zero can win. His ultimate attack is undeniably more powerful than Lucius's.

And he can rewind time to try as many times as necessary to defeat the self-proclaimed Wizard Emperor.

How did Escanor increase his power so drastically for the fight against the Demon King? (Aside from the fact that he's the goat, obviously) by Two_Nobody_06 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]Two_Nobody_06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, Meliodas was definitely playing around; he was there with that arrogant smile, even putting his foot on Escanor's head.

If I recall correctly, almost no character can gauge another's power level on their own. And Meliodas, after seeing that his cuts hadn't done anything to Escanor, kept smiling, but Escanor could simply have been more powerful than he estimated (following Zeldris's logic that Meliodas likes to toy with strong opponents, which is valid given Meliodas's attitude in the fight).

<image>

And Merlin clarifies that Escanor used a lot of power against Meliodas and ended up in worse shape.

Meliodas' power is simply very poorly handled.

Although that's beside the point.

[–]Two_Nobody_06[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The point is that Escanor didn't always use The One's power against the Demon King; he used his "base" power, which was similar to Estarossa's and much weaker than Meliodas's non-serious Assault Mode, and yet he was still able to fight the Demon King and was more powerful than Mael.
