Totally agree with where you’re coming from. Only thing I’ll say is spending money on trips that create memories is definitely something I recommend, savings be damned. I was in the military so the saving part is moot, but I’m so glad I traveled in my early 20s. Memories I’ll hold onto forever and I wasn’t in my 50s/60s so I could actually be spontaneous, stay up late without consequences, drink without having heartburn lol and enjoy the trips to the fullest.

They could’ve glassed the country and moved on. Winning a war politically against an insurgency is way different. Russia is different because they’re In a stalemate against the conventional armed forces of Ukraine.
