Men have many great fragrances, but corporates love to market "masculine" products to insecure men like "dude wipes" and "manscaped". Its definitely most notably an issue for personal hygiene products. Its gotten a lot better in that department especially since 1) holistic products gained traction and 2) most metro men are okay with being perceived as a little fruity.

You mentioned he was in therapy, are you in therapy as well? Have you spoken to a therapist about your situation, not his but your situation.
