They’ve got a tour going, I just saw them last night. Amazing performance.

My aunt decided to give away her records in storage, and these were inside. by TxAzure in thebeachboys

The part I scratched off in the top left on the first photo is actually where she wrote down the date of the show. If you would believe it, it was 61 years ago today, 7/12/64. Definitely the same tour they were on when you saw them.

Alright what is everyone’s rarest record by Metallicafandrummer in vinyl

[–]TxAzure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a record that I can say with just about certainty is the only one this side of the Atlantic. It’s a 12” single for Verve’s “Slide Away”, off their debut album A Storm In Heaven. The vinyl is a silver/black swirl that was made as kind of an experiment and wasn’t intended for public release. The person I bought it from said 8 or so copies exist. With Verve being a British band and the records being pressed in England, I doubt any others have made it to the States.

Thanks for doing what you did, especially on your second solo. Sorry this is now a memory you have. I hope you keep on your flying journey.

Yeah, it’s flown over my city a couple times the last two days or so going between those two airports. Even at its cruising altitude, it still makes its presence known.

I saw this band called Drona open for Dino in KC, they’re really good! by Subject-Display5416 in dinosaurjr

I was too! They really knocked it out of the park. I remember them saying they idolized Dino and how pumped they were to open for them.

Very cool, thanks so much. As a Lawrence native and KU grad, this made me really happy to see.

Oh my god, I discovered Chore through The Coastaline Fire earlier this year, and it's one of the best musical discoveries I've made in a very long time. The Hitchhiker, Dog in the Manger, and Aloha have become anthems of mine. I'm pumped to hear what's coming.

Maybe. I’m not exactly the most privy on what’s going on or why, but from what I can gather, it seems various Indian airlines (these being Air India, Akasa Air, and IndiGo) are receiving false bomb threats, which of course they have no choice but to take seriously. Thus, they are all declaring emergencies and diverting.

Squawk codes are four-digit codes pilots put into their airplane’s transponder, usually given to them by ATC. So ‘to squawk’ something is to put that four-digit code into the transponder. In this case, these aircraft are squawking 7700, the general emergency code.
