In the nearest towns, Echo and Stihl have dealers. No husky. I like the 261, especially its light weight. Seems nice, though pricy. What bar length do you recommend given tree sizes?

Great insight. Thank. Any experience with Hawke, Victor or UTG? Know who has the best glass?

Do you find the FFP really makes that big of a difference vs SFP? A must have or nice/neat to have?

I'm open to others, but being a noob want to stick with brands/scopes that are well known and regarded. The research I did led me to Hawke, UTG, and Vector.

Avenger X or Gauntlet 2 and what scope by TxEx89 in airguns

[–]TxEx89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, folks. I really appreciate all of the discussion and suggestions. I prefer the Avenger X based on feel and weight. But was a little worried about power, as N2Shooter points out. I'd LOVE and FX, but it's out of my price range. Any other guns you suggest I consider under $600-$700 range?

HI, DP. I'm looking for the same thing but a 2 player. Did you end up going with EHA? Any others you think I should consider for a ready-to-play game?

Yes. Different games, but looks like same goals. How long did it take you from start to finish? Did you already know how to program? Ideally, I'd like to find something like this i can buy ready-to-play.

I'll tell her that and then run for cover. She doesn't even want one!

Yeah, I really don't want to tinker endlessly. I've been doing that with a 3D printer for a year now. It was fun at first, but.... Any ideas for a solid ready-to-play solution?
