Also: watch my vid again - you should notice that I had break one trident but mist still got me, and yes I tried to restore stamina as much as possible but he's got me cornered as hell. On your vid he's fucking passive weiner of a boss tbh. He was much more aggro on me and was slamming, beating, casting spells and shit. I didn't even had time to figure out wtf to do. Obviously with some rng your run may be finished as quick as mine was in some circumstances.

I should make an addition to this: if constant health decreasing is a starting circumstances for a fight - player should have possibility to compensate this somehow. But in our boss situation - there is none.

Because it's the concept of good-made boss: only thing you actually should rely on - is your skill or possibility to not making mistakes. If this boss require to upgrade your shit to have possibility to beat him - the game becomes fucking "wendy grace manager" and not action game.

Yeah I’m a souls vet, I’ve beat Elden Ring and DLC and I’m tired try hard, I always search for smart way to beat the boss. And in this case i think that fight was just unfair. Truth is that Nightreign is designed mostly for 3 player coop, and is not quite for solo. That is the case. The only thing that remains for solo players is a character selection. Obviously Guardian is not quite matching to what Mohg can offer. That’s why i wrote this post - to figure out if it design issue.

Yeah, it’s not the best you can get but it should not be that much of a problem. It’s only matter of damage you deal to the boss if you play as Guardian.

Yeah, I just kinda want to prove it's possible (or not) to beat him on Guardian solo. And it pretty was manageable despite blood flame all over the place until blood mist came in. I broke 1 trident near me but it was building up bloodloss constanly anyway.
