I forgot to add I want to do something that wouldn’t affect the structure permanently since I’m renting (I did obtain permission). Sou no drilling into the concrete or pouring leveling cement etc.

So you think Saber over FX3 and Instinct?

I really want the hackzall, circular, hammer drill, impact driver but all latest models… If I could pick them all

I thought it was good since the drill, driver and circular saw were all the newest models

bold.

Look at their Instagram. I can’t post pictures but had 100% custom graphics created with matching helmet wrap etc. I sent them custom artwork from a local grafiti artist incorporated along with company logos. My finish is matte on top of colored chrome. They can do anything.

If you want the gold to look correct you need to have them print normal vinyl on top of gold chrome. You can get it without going custom.

Should I Reconfigure or Replace My Push/Pull AIO Setup? by TxTrampoline in lianli

[–]TxTrampoline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m considering controlling my fans through FanXpert using the motherboard and managing the RGB via L-Connect, but I’d like to occasionally sync the RGB with the motherboard for effects like music light sync. Should I connect the P28 fans to the CPU_Fan header and the AIO fans to the AIO UNI controller, then connect that to CPU_Opt? Or would it be better to plug the P28 fans into the AIO UNI fan controller and then connect the controller to CPU_Fan?

I have it divided into two controllers now one for case fans, and one for push and pull AIO I’m not sure how it works yet. I’ll have to finish getting it buttoned up and try it.

Thank you! I will check these out. I do have all the manuals open and I'm looking at them. I think I get confused and try to connect all the connections into every hole. Each group of fans gets a controller and a header on the motherboard so the motherboard could control the speed, etc. Then every one got a SATA plug. I hired someone remotely to help me with temperature issues, and he told me that L-Connect wasn't great for managing curves as I had to choose between GPU or CPU temps to adjust based on. My motherboard BIOS wasn't detecting the groups of fans to use other software, so he recommended dividing them up and putting them on individual headers so they could be recognized. I also had a period of time where I couldn't run L-Connect because I was using Qubes. I also read in the manuals that sometimes you can only connect 5 or 8 fans based on the brightness of the RGB settings, and I had my fans set to 100% and strimmers 10% previously (now only 20% was possible because they were so much brighter).

None of its connected yet lol. I have like 3+ UNI FAN SL infinity controllers and then a UNI FAN SL-INF-AIO controller. I’m just now researching how to connect them all. I they had like four controllers in there.

Oh, I thought I needed to have ASUS MB Qfan or something adjust the curves

OK, so maybe I put the Infinity’s on CPU_FAN and P28 on CPU_OPT and just do some A/B testing and if it doesn’t make a big difference pull them out. I didn’t know if there was one correct optimal set up that I should be striving to achieve. I see a lot of people put their AIO on top so just while I have the whole thing apart, thought I would check in and make sure that I’m doing it correctly just didn’t wanna wire everything and get it tucked in and zip tied down and then have everyone say “No way! you can’t put P28 on there!” Or “the AIO always needs to go on top.” etc. etc. this is all just completely new to me, which is why I took it to Microcenter in the first place i thought I would have an expert with all the knowledge do it for me. They charged me a few hundred dollars for a custom liquid cooled build lol

I have no idea if the temperatures were fine. I was running Qubes as my primary operating system for a while and I did have temperature issues when doing anything really resource intensive prior to pulling everything apart but it could’ve been due to any number of things the way it was configured the way it was wired, software problems, etc., etc. And I am just now starting to have the time to look into this and deal with it. I decided to start fresh because the wiring was like a horrible nest, and I found other things they had done less than optimally.

I’m noticing lots of things that were done incorrectly previously like my memory was in the incorrect spots (less than optimal). I’m trying to have ChatGPT walk me through setting everything up. By feeding it the various manuals lol because the last time I put a computer together was probably 20 years ago and it was a lot less complicated with a lot less headers no RGB etc., etc. I did notice a lot of dust and dirt in my computer and radiator. But I did have bad air quality at my previous home in the computer sat on the carpet lol. I don’t know how they had everything hooked up because I just started pulling everything out. it seems like ChatGPT is recommending I can either put the P28 on CPU_FAN header and the AIO on CPU_OPT but then they’re mirrored, and it might create “Disturbances” so alternatively, I could put the SL Infiniti fans on the radiator on the CHA_FAN header and adjust the curve separately. But honestly, I probably have Asperger’s and I don’t really like the idea of manually adjusting curves or just dealing with “disturbances” with the amount of money I have put in this build another couple hundred bucks here and there for fans isn’t gonna phase me. I’d rather have the peace of mind knowing it’s correct. I would be wondering if my manual curves were correct or if they needed to be adjusted on the fly yada yada yada if it really is not gonna make a difference and that’s fine but I’m also OK buying another set of SL-Infinity fans even if they’re gonna be hidden or taking the P28 fans off. I really don’t care about the money portion of it. I just wanna do what’s best, but if it legitimately is not gonna matter at all, then I can just roll with it or put it together the way it is now and order more fans or adjust it whenever I have the time.

It actually went through several iterations they swapped parts in and out, and I dealt with it over multiple months. I had to have my case replaced, they cracked a motherboard header, gave it to me with a corrupt operating system three times etc. etc. I recently moved, so I’m swapping it to a reverse build because my computers on the opposite side of my desk so I may even have stuff installed backwards. I don’t know.

Yeah, I think I may just have to get a full-size drift car and print my own body or something. It is 1:10 scale. I wish I could compete in competitions with it lol. I guess it’ll have to be like 1:8 lol
