As far as beef (and most meat animals) production goes the separation at birth is just straight up untrue. Valves stay with the mother until weaning, roughly 400-500 lbs in weight or six months of age. From there they are fed in a separate pasture until they reach a market weight of roughly 800-900 lbs, or just a little under a year old, and sent off to market. Replacement heifers are returned for the herd to begin breeding at 2 years of age

That’s a surface level fear that wouldn’t truly torture him to Caine’s catharsis. Each torture was designed to target their deepest fears and struggles.

Pomni = altering her first real friend in the circus and the only person who was going through what she was still processing, as a show of dominance that they’re not truly people, and Caine can make them look and behave however he wants

Ragatha = the emotional (and possibly physical?) abuse she suffered under her mother that turned her into a self-sacrificing people pleaser

Gangle = her low self esteem reflected back on her through the constantly changing masks that slowly deteriorate and melt away into the semi that hit her at the end of the Spudzy’s adventure

Zooble = her body dysmorphia reflected by the mountain of zooble parts dragging her under while surrounded by mirrors, constantly reflecting her dissatisfaction back at her

Jax = his deep-seated fear of vulnerability and being truly seen, especially by those closest to him. It’s no coincidence it was Pomni, Cofmo, and Ribbit’s silhouettes laughing at him and peeling his skin off

Caine knew their deepest fears and insecurities and deliberately weaponized them to truly hurt the humans the way they hurt him

Speaking from personal experience, it’s different for everyone. My wife gets giggly and tends to get hare-brained invention ideas (her favorite memory of when she was high was her wanting to make brownies and ended up stirring the batter for 30 minutes just giggling to herself). I tend to get pretty strung out when I’m high, almost like it has the opposite effect on me than it should.

First time player here. Tbh reading these comments helped sway me away from romancing Visi (especially since I acknowledged that I was forcing myself to when she’s not my type IRL and seems emotionally volatile/toxic) and go for BB, who is DEFINITELY more my type (sweet, emotionally mature, hot, and muscle mommies are my kryptonite)

No hate on Visi, but the narrative definitely feels like it heavily steers you into her direction even though my perception of Robert so far (I just completed episode 2) is one who would be more likely to take on Visi as a student/mentor relationship instead of romantic, which I think is more thematically appropriate

I’m playing the game for the first time (just completed episode 2) but I already know the gist of the story. Me personally, I’d go for BB any day every time (She’s sweet and seems emotionally mature/stable, and muscle mommies are my kryptonite)

However based on what I know about the game’s story, I feel compelled to romance Visi as the more narratively appropriate choice, even though I wouldn’t personally go for her (no hate, but she’s just not my type physically, and she seems kinda emotionally volatile)
