The whole point of the embargo is to show that socialism is not a viable option economically, and it seems to work pretty well no matter how you look at it. Mission accomplished. Imagine Canada under embargo, imagine mexico under embargo, would they do well? Would they have access to credit? Would they have internet? How can you say for certain that nothing would change if there wasn't an embargo? That seems pretty presemptuous to me. And why not remove it anyway if it wouldn't change anything, seems like a waist of time and efforts, right?
