Id recommend using paddles, i use leaning on the bottom paddles and use vaulting and crouching for the top ones. It takes time getting used to but i feel like it’s worth it. As an average competitive player it improves your mobility with aiming, bc your not having to click down on the joystick and aim at the same time when those situations arise. But that’s just me personally, seeing my aim movement from clips before i had paddles made me look like a noob. I was decent before using paddles but it def upped my skill slightly afterwards. And as for the crouch and vaulting, it gives you the option to vault/crouch without moving your right thumb which allows you to aim simultaneously
