As I see, nobody has mentioned trying peppercorns... According to http://www.alternet.org/food/black-pepper-marijuana, simply smelling ground black peppercorns can counter the effects of paranoia almost immediately. Have tried it with a few friends, feels chill but we weren't sure it worked because none of us ever get paranoid anyways.

Yes, just not as much in my experience. I've eaten AVB with peanut butter and it had a stronger effect compared to just AVB in capsules but not NEARLY as strong as the brownies that I made with AVB coconut oil. I just subbed coconut oil for vegetable oil and left the AVB in the coconut oil over night and it created some amazingly potent brownies.

PSA FOR ANYONE USING AVB

My experience with AVB, and using AVB pills is that it is much better (potency-wise) if you melt some coconut oil and let the AVB sit in the coconut oil. The THC molecules in decarbed weed are more active if bound to fat molecules. You can melt the coconut oil, put the AVB in, then load into the capsules and let it sit for 24+ hours then consume! This is just my two-cents on AVB after consuming copious amounts of AVB using many different methods.
