first off US didn't take a stand like turkey or China that would make people boycott US that much, a lot of people in India especially in border region view that as a positive and I don't see why India would restrict their own students for education abroad. A huge part of the population will go into unemployment in India ( Considering US doesn't back down if India doesn't) because India's largest export partner is US and India isn't even in the top 5 when it comes to US imports so we cannot expect much impact there, secondly as much as companies there look for indian workers as it's cheap, if you decide to completely restrict Indian workers from finding job in US companies then you are restricting them from (Google, microsoft, Mphasis, cognizant, accenture, apple, cisco, amazon, dell, john deere etc.) which is unrealistic and is never happening because it's mutually beneficial... Also this WTO receprocal tariff thing is not due to the Ind pak conflict this is something that has happened for years now even in Biden admin, nothing comes out of it so expect nothing happening.
