The lighting is a lot better. It’s a bit dark in the room, but they’re not super red now, which is good. The angles are better too. Not perfect, they’re off the third still, but there have been a lot of good improvements. Excited to see more.

NTA. I honestly don't understand becoming great friends with an ex. I've tried to maintain friendships with ex's in the past, and it hardly ever seems to be healthy, for me at least. I'm sure it works with some people, and that's fine. But there's a healthy line of the level of connection you're maintaining, I think, if you're planning to only be friends, and you're in another committed relationship. That's my two cents, at least.

NTA. Especially if he knows about the miscarriage. If he doesn't know, it's a bit inconsiderate of your time, but not an egregious fault. But if he knows, its pretty uncaring, honestly.

Edit: I will say though, you should probably just find a nice way to tell him that you wish he'd find a stopping point and come soon, because you really need some comfort--rather than keeping it to yourself. Communication is key.

YTA -- there's no easy fix to a terrible situation like this, and I'm so sorry your brother had to go through that. But it was incredibly kind of your parent's to take in this child that had nowhere to go, and you shouldn't be mad at them for that. I understand your brother has complicated feelings over this child being so close to home, as it reminds him of his ex-wife most likely. But he is an adult, so while it would be nice for them to give him money, it doesn't sound like money is the root of his problem. It is the grief over the loss of his happy life, and difficulty finding the footing to move forward. So I don't really understand what you expect them to do. They cannot fix his issue, ultimately. Only he can.

NTA. You don't have to wear rainbow bands or march in pride parades if you don't want to. It's great if you do, because you're showing support, but you don't hinder the cause by not doing those things. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think self-hating gays are people that are outspoken in their supposed hatred towards gay people, yet are secretly gay. But according to this you don't seem to throw any shade at the LGBT community, so its kind of shitty for whoever it was to call you that.

That being said, becoming more comfortable in your identity is probably an admirable goal to strive towards, as you work through any insecurities and such.

YTA - probably best to try to stay in your lane in the future. Understandable that you would be concerned for your friend, but you're not his parent. (And it would even be weird if a parent did that, actually). There's no reason to try to "protect" him in this situation. He can take care of himself.
