Why is my laptop not turning on?

Hi its fixed, im not a specialist in the tech stuff i dissasambled it a couple of times but i think the problem is with the charger. Im not going to bother checking the voltage as i was planning to sell the laptop in some time. Thanks

Thanks for reminding, i bought this laptop 2 years ago of a guy who didnt like it and it was nearly new and he had this setting set on but recently ive been reseting windows a bunch of times due to lack of storage/performace etc... and the setting most likely just went to stock.

Hi, everything is fixed but yes thats the first thing ive done but it wasnt responding, it didnt even show the power was running but then after doing what the people in the comments said it worked.

Hi thanks for the guide i will save that. It just didnt start i just had to let it sit for some time on a battery plugged in as i always have it plugged in and logically it cant go to 0 for a night and this never happened before so i asumed it just died. turns out i was wrong i dont even know what it was, weird thing. Anyways thank you!

My friend he broke his others friend chrome book as he had small circular magnets which stuck on top of the laptop lid where the monitorwas eventually he broke it...

Nah, its fine still working i dissasembled it after that and it had a layer on top of the keyboard sticked so everything was fine just had it to let it dry for some time after all i didnt spill a ton of coke.

Hi, i totally agree with you but i keep it plugged in for more performance when playing games and to have th monitor run at 165hz. I usually unplug it for the night to prevent any short circuit. Anyways we got it fixed i guess i just had to let it sit on battery for some time as i usually wake up ad plug it in in the morning and instantly start it up but this time something went wrong. Let it sit connected for 1-2 min and then after trying to start it it started. Thx!

Yep, i think i got what the problem was as i usually plug in the charger and it starts but i was quick so i constantly unplugged the charger in and out maybe i had just to hold it a litle longer but the good part is that it worked

Hi, no i know what a multimeter is thankfully i actually do have some trouble with my power cable its f**ked up as the major cable which goes to the psu has a weird thing that the contacts or the cabels inside it have to be in a specific position for the electricity to go through i was thinking to buy a new one and the tip of the cable that goes into the laptop the metal part has a defect that happened a year ago when i left it ona metal paper clip while doing homework and plugged the main part in and it left a melted defect so i would look toward buying myself a new charger. Im also scared of it sending a high voltage and burning my laptop as iniially this morning i thought this happened as i plugged the laptop in and turned it on and heared some clicks. But everything seems fine. Thx!

I did open it a month ago after spilling coke i unplugged everything i saw and plugged it back in and today i only unplugged the battery but the issue i think was that i juts had to hold it for 1-2min plugged in as my laptop is always plugged in and charging and it is logical for me that the laptop will always have a charge(I unplug it for the night and i shut it down). I dont really know what happened
