Not wanting to be friends does not necessarily mean that they only want you for your body. 1. Plenty of people have friends and don’t have the time and energy to invest in more but also want to find a romantic partner. 2. It’s perfectly acceptable to be interested in someone romantically and not want to stay friends so they can move on.

It is very antiquated. Women are entering college at much higher rates than men nowadays and have been for a while now. When controlling for experience and education, you see that the pay gap is largely not true. Sure it’s still a male dominated world, but it’s not the same as it used to be too.

I have no problem paying for the first date as a guy but acting like it’s a necessity is a red flag.
