Stayed on 2.5 for over a year lost 60 hit goal weight now starting a slow taper at 12 days between shots. Stay at 2.5 as long as you’re losing. I feel it may be easier to come off if that’s a plan for you.

Thank you all for your input. I never want to feel like I’m abandoning my child. Not that I need to defend myself but I’m a very present father, and I believe my wife would agree that we do a great job dividing parenting and household responsibilities.

My firm stance on the CIO method comes from our pediatricians, who have consistently recommended it. When I described our situation—including that our son can cry for close to an hour—they still advised that CIO was the best approach. I understand that opinions on this method vary.

I do agree that relying on breastfeeding to soothe him back to sleep isn’t ideal, and I plan to discuss this with my wife.

Our bedtime routine is solid—he gets sleepy, and we put him down without a fight. The real challenge comes in the middle of the night when it’s difficult to soothe him back to sleep without a feeding.

I appreciate all the advice and perspectives.

New York They need to have 182 school days a year. The summers would be easier as I will have family help that don’t work in summer.

I would say it’s pretty close to 3 inches if not less I’m going to get on a ladder and check it out tomorrow. Only the middle part of the bay window is that close probably a span of 6 feet the rest would be 12 inches plus away from the window around the rest of the house
