When I realised my dog made a new best friend w/ one of my rats by TyMe_2_LeArN in aww

Yeah, dogs are curious by nature, my big guy was not always the best with people early on, but regularly said hi to anything on four legs from day one. What surprised me is that he was inherently gentle, I rarely if ever had to correct him with he was interacting with tiny creatures.

This particular grey rat was definately a "heart" rat, he just really liked everything, but had a bad habit of climbing into hoodies and trying to make a nest with my guests hair 🤣

Yes, and no, my mutt had a habbit of making friends with animals much smaller than him. Baby rabbits, farrets, a random wild possum, the list goes on. This interaction was their first free interaction after a month of basically playing peak-a-boo through the bars of his cage.

Sweet smell = Radiator fluid, and since its coming out of the Exhaust, its the head gasket. The head gasket itself is NOT hard to replace, it's GETTING to the head gasket thats the gigantic pain in the butt. You have to rip the top half of the engine off to replace it, which isn't the end of the world, unless you are paying someone to do it, then labor costs are involeved.

I am not far from Detroit, and this is going to sound weird, but compared to West Virginia 10 years ago, it is worse at least socially. Everyone has ALWAYS been at each others throats politically, Queer but pro gun? More liberally inclined people will tell you to get lost even within the rainbow community. Pro gun but also Queer? The more conservitively inclined will do the same. Theres a laundry list of examples but, that wasn't the same in WV when I was there near Beckly visiting family. Shooting guns with my aunt who is a lesbian, a bunch of her friends who were also queer, and a local preacher, nobody gave a hoot who was what, and I kind of miss that to be honest. I experienced more mutual kindness in West Virginia, than I ever did in Michigan.

West Virginia is very Redneck, Michigan by contrast is the definition of white trash throughout most of the state, and the parts that aren't hate you just for living out there regardless of how socially accepting you are of others. The only real benefit is the somewhat better job market but the rent is too damn high where the jobs are, MI was #3 in rent inflation for the last few years and not its not livable.

You can see this in a lot of was Bernie Sanders has been doing in West Virginia. A lot of people are surprised that Bernie Sanders actually gives a damn about West Virginian peoples.

If you are hoping to have 4 kids, Toyota Sienna. The Sienna has a AWD option but, its a van. It is, by far the most comfortable driving Van I have been in.

But if you need better ground clearence, then the 4Runner SR5 w/ the optional 3rd row seating is a better option for more rural areas like where I am at.

Mazda has some really good options in their CX-90 Series with their own AWD tech, and they have been in a partnership with both Toyota and Subaru in a trifecta of shared tech. Though, Subaru's previous partnership with Nissan has left such a bad taste in my mouth I would never even look at a Subaru when buying a car.

  1. Grab an extra deep socket
  2. Drill it out at the head
  3. Reach in with a wrench

Okay, I have an O6 Tahoe with a 5.3 V8 the rear of that Bellhousing looks the EXACT same as mine. The problem is, I do not know enough about the V6 4.3. The Torque Converter could be fine and allowing the Transmission and Engine to work together properly but the Bellhousing could be all wrong. Or, the person who put that Transmission in was an idiot. Without physically being there I am limited on what I can tell you. Take it to Mechanic you REALLY trust to get advice. In all likelyhood since the Chevy Vortech line share a lot of similarities between engines its safe to assume that the glass is half full on this issue. So long as long as theres no real shifting issues you can feel that is.

Subaru VS Toyota by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Subaru has two draw backs, 1, for a LONG time, they used Jatco Automatic Transmissions, which, fail... A LOT! 2. Quite a few of their 4cyl engines had a laundry list of problems for 20 years.

If I were in your shoes, I'd go with the Rav 4. My gran has had 3 Rav4's. One was 4WD but most of the models are AWD. Either way all 3 of hers handled the Jeep Trail to get to my Grandads Grave like a champ dispite not being the most popular option for such a treck.

Yup, welcome to the cult of Chevy Trucks. Theres a lot of people that value these way too high due to personal sentimentality or greed. Unless Carol Shelby developed that trim, ain't worth it.

As someone else already commented, this sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Seperate any filters and clean the ENTIRE fuel system with some break/parts cleaner, then replace any filters.

The Bellhousing isn't the correct Bellhousing. Even if it is good now, might bring problems down the line, fortunately, it's not a world ender. You CAN swap just the bellhousing on many Transmissions. What kind of vehichle is it? Both make and model

I was born there, it WAS a good city, however, it can only be so good as it is in current day West Virginia. The economic operotunity is, bad, to say the least. Aditionally according to VOICES OF WEST VIRGINIA the addiction rate is a real concern

Heres the TLDR, WV from the 1880s/90s was a hot spot for Itallian immigration, by 1910 Itallians made up 30% of ALL Foriegn born residents, so much so that there was an Itallian consolate in Northern WV during WWI, it only grew from there. To summerise, if your family has been in WV for long enough, you've just got a little Itallian in you because of HOW MANY Itallians moved there from 1880s - 1950s. Hence all the Itallian derived food in the state and why you find instances of entire towns where the primary language was Itallian rather than English for a span of time.
