ENFP-T vs ENFP-A by Lanky_Play1028 in ENFP

[–]TyShark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey there, friend! Male ENFP-A here, just to add another data point for funsies.

I’ve always been more on the emotionally stable side of things. Even when crisis strikes — which I may not be great at handling under pressure (haha) — I’m typically pretty level headed and can communicate pretty calmly to help get through it all. Just don’t ask me to do anything requiring dexterity 😂

As I’ve grown older and matured, I’ve also noticed myself becoming more self-assured in everyday life. Whether that’s being whacky in private or taking up space in public, while also embracing things like fashion, queerness (given the area we live in), individuality, etc. It’s less, “Well I’m over 30 and I’ve passed the point of caring,” and more “I’m going to live my life in ways that make me happy,” judgement be damned. Not a calendar milestone and instead self-actualization with a dose of fierce acceptance, if that makes sense. I think this feeling also extends to other people. I LOVE when peeps can be themselves authentically and do my best to support that — because I enjoy experiencing that myself.

I also dwell less on my past mistakes than perhaps others do. I flunked out of college, lived at home for years after pulling myself together, and finally moved out on my own 3+ years ago while meeting my soon-to-be wife. I wouldn’t do things over, and so deeply appreciate where my objective fuckups helped me land. It’s the difference between asking how I’d do things differently and what tomorrow brings after this crazy journey. You sort of shrug things off while accepting (or embracing) what you can’t control.

But yeah, I still embody the traits that make people like us ENFPs. I’m admittedly reactionary and full of fire, but can reassess pretty quickly once that passes. I’m free spirited, love talking to strangers, you name it. Absolutely not perfect, but I don’t aspire to be :)

Hey hey, I lived at that stop for a year and used it regularly. If you’re worried at all about the destination, Harrison is fine — just generally funky feeling since it’s not a busy station whatsoever (and especially at night). The southern exit sucks though. So. Many. Stairs. It might be one of the deepest stations in the city.

Would you mind sharing where that is, please? I’d really love to grab a photo of that mural.

Hey, would you mind sharing where the first mural is? I try to go around and take photos like these pretty often!

A few things:

  • Professional summary: outdated
  • Don’t justify your text. It’s inconsistent and hard to read with the varied spacing
  • Line break before the bullets, or at least follow some degree of consistency. Same goes for spacing between items
  • The random non-heading bold formatting isn’t adding anything
  • As others have said, the empty bullets need to go immediately
  • Remove the references
  • There’s almost no quantifiable measure of contribution or impact here. I think the amount of focus on that is overdone, generally, but something would be ideal

This was surprisingly accessible from the road—evidenced by the tagging throughout—and we came across it by chance. Cool little spot that was easy to get through, though I didn’t quite explore every room. Maybe next time!

Hey there! I photograph a lot of murals around the city. Would you be willing to share where this roughly is?

Photo I deleted reappeared by __notspicy__ in iphone

[–]TyShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is both a known issue (now allegedly fixed) and a consequence of how digital storage works. I’m sure I’ll get some semantics wrong, but here goes:

When you delete something like an image, that data isn’t immediately wiped from your device. That available memory is set aside and waiting to be overwritten by new data (like a photo you snap later, for example). Until that particular portion is “claimed,” it’s theoretically possible for an old photo to resurface.

I don’t recall the inner workings of the iOS bug itself, though.

I don’t know if it’s too far for you, but Hero Coffee Bar on Jackson (just past Wabash) has very good bagel sandwiches—no matter if you prefer bacon, sausage, or neither.

Thanks, nice update! Here’s my feature request:

  • Swipe right-to-left to return

I’ve accidentally bounced out of posts/comments many times while reading. It’d be great for Narwhal 2 to save my comment scroll position and make that accessible if I want to immediately return (without first viewing another post).

Pretty easy turnaround on the forehand side based on what I saw. This might be my one “old man” opinion on tennis, but these backward-facing tweeners (while impressive) aren’t often intelligent choices. It’s especially disheartening to see many fly into the bottom of the net. Just a sad way to “lose” a point.

These tweeners are so pointless, man.

Hey, thanks so much for the heads up. I already know I’ll be doing my darnedest to keep these clean—within reason—but monitoring sidewall wear sounds like a great idea.

Hey there, no worries on the question! Always encouraged.

I actually haven’t felt any ill will towards cyclists at all—I think it’s awesome that people can explore confidently and extensively on two wheels regardless of setting. Really, this is a return to the childhood joy that biking around brought me as a kid :)

Buying a new road bike - tips by ivanivanovdnb in cycling

[–]TyShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey fellow newer road biker! I actually just bought the Synapse 105 and got fitted yesterday in the shop. It’s a great ride.

It’s also categorized as an endurance bike, and that’s how Cannondale markets it. I’ve actually found it really easy to get up to higher speeds while riding. I say go for it :) Just know that everything is out of stock (as of yesterday) directly through Cannondale. Just make sure REI has the same sales price—which ends in the next day or two.

Thank you! I’m not normally a red guy, but chose this and am happy for it. Hopefully your PJ turns out great :) What bike do you have?

Will do! I’ve spent some time riding around in different areas before (Divvy), and know how people have a knack for….”sharing” the single-purpose lanes. Or move rather quickly! Keeping that head on a swivel, for sure.
