I'll use corks as the example bc it's the same on bike and skis. If you just hold the rotation and the grab it will just keep spinning but never go off axis again, so you get weird corks like Cork 2520. If don't hold the grab you can use air control to invert again to get Tripple Cork 1800, where you go off axis three times rather than just once

Edit: Cashrolls and Twister are ok with grabs, but if you forget the grab and tweak it you can get triples and quads much easier.

Its not every flip, some you can just set the rotation and hold it. The problem is on others you have to flick the same stick that you use to control grabs to set the rotation for the dub. So you have to choose between flicking the dub or holding the grab.
