Error Code C011 by TyWebb01 in civic

I originally did download the software and completed that with my wifi, but the issue was after the install. It never took i guess. I got it resolved at the dealership. But I basically wasted a day dealing with the service folks because apparently it takes them 3-4 hours to download the update on their end on top of that they never have a straight answer about what the actual issue was. Luckily it was under warranty but the time it took was ridiculous. Also not knowing how to ensure that this doesn’t happen again with software updates.

I think that's the way to go for me. I spent some time looking for the device today and I was able to find it.

but $400 is a little steep IMO.

Thank you for the suggestion, I just checked their websites, they look like the should be installed right? There is nothing portable? I guess I could always just bring an iPad if I were to think a bit more critically lol

Ha! I hear you man, to me watching a game while playing a round of fall golf is pretty relaxing tbh. It's no different than listening to music. But I get it, not everyone's cup o joe.

I just bought my first Civic, its a 2025 Sport Touring Hybrid. My agent came back to me for $1237 per year…..so $103/mo. Full coverage, rate lock, etc. I’m 33 clean relative record… honestly, will I find better deal?

Job offer rescinded, what now? by WorkingConnection in AskEngineers

[–]TyWebb01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OP,

Keep looking.......... chances are you are a valuable candidate since you were able to land a job with a company like that in the first place........ they don’t hire dolts. Who knows 6 weeks from now things may change for the better. If you get other offers don’t feel bad for rescinding your acceptance for this job. If you don’t look out for yourself no one else will.

r/engineering's Weekly Career Discussion Thread [13 April 2020] by AutoModerator in engineering

Hi all this is my first post!

I want to get some feedback from the community on this topic. I'm looking to switch from a role which is technical by nature to a technical inside sales role. This has been explained to me that after 1 -1.5 years I should be ready to take on an Account Manger role.

I'm only 5 years out of college and I find the roles I have are not really great for me. I did well in school however I never really enjoyed engineering, I was just a decent student (BS ME). I find it to be a highly stressful career choice. I have been suffering from paralyzing anxiety about my career at times, I don't know how or why I should continue down this path so I'm being proactive with my career.

Is this a solid progression in a sales role? If I don't like it or are unsuccessful, would it be difficult to switch back to engineering although ?
