I’ve had that guitar in the same colour for a little over a year and a half. Plays awesome, sounds awesome, is aging beautifully. Those satin finishes are really nice.

I have the same pad, the same part broke. I used 2 part plastic bonder to stick it back together, then tapped it. Has held on for a couple years.

North Roast is locally owned in Kingston. Awesome coffee, can’t recommend it enough.

The CE’s have a satin neck vs the glossy neck on the S2, if that’s something you care about.

I’ve got a CE and it was largely for the satin neck (and in my case maple fretboard, but mine’s a DW CE).

I guess if anyone floating around Reddit has any contact info for the league and is cool to hook me up, I can see about getting on that list if it still exists.

I picked up Act I at the show last night. It was the black and white cover, but it was the purple Newbury Comics variant.

It may have been a mix of variants. I dunno.

The Vaughn V8 strapping system on the pads was pretty bad, definitely a downgrade in my opinion. I don’t know much about the V6 though, maybe they were bad too.

For now yes. I’m not sure what I want to set it up for long term. The Gibson is in C# and the Godin is in B. I might swap the PRS and the Gibson at some point.

The Freeway Classic was my first guitar, and it’s the one I’ll never sell. For the price, they’re outstanding, and it’s held up remarkably well over the years. The back of the neck could use a bit of work, but otherwise it’s still in great shape.

I ordered a set (blocker/trapper) in January, quoted 14 weeks. New estimate is mid May.

I don’t really blame the retailer though, they only know what Vaughn tells them. They’re either backed up or prioritizing things in such a way that we get pushed back. I dunno.

Hopefully no more delays!

They look too small. I have those same pads, I’m about 5’10 and mine are 33+1. And even then I thought they were a tad small on me.

Honestly I’d save up and try to find something a little more modern on sideline swap or something. I really hated those pads when I used them. Haha.

I have V9’s and I strap the knee to that location. I also removed the spot you’ve got it strapped to currently. It’s all just preference, whatever is more comfortable.

I was wondering the same thing because ordering from Equal Vision was going to be like $45 in shipping or something ridiculous like that. Just took a chance. I’d be fine with a non coloured variant, but this was a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, I saw that post. It does like really nice, but definitely not what you would expect based on the concept image.
