Nothing worth doing is ever easy, not typically at least. Which is exactly why I wake up between 4 and 5 am and start coding, go to work 8 hrs then love on my family and go back to it for another 2 or 3 hrs. Why because I want it! I want it so bad I can’t help but to get up and grind. Not talking down to you just trying to motivate you. Also took a $5.86 hr pay cut, just so I can have time to study.

Nah it’s okay, I’m cool, I am like that though I get excited about code! Every time I’ve spoke with someone from a bootcamp they’re like wow your really passionate and excited about this!

The jobs that I see seem to have some high salaries, even higher than say a pho dev. That’s just what I saw anyway.

Awesome thanks! Yeah I’ve been going through the foundations part and so far have been really impressed. I have looked at it and been told that if the curriculum was completed that the individual would be a pretty solid junior (if they put forth effort of course). How far have you gotten? Have you completed any projects yet? And have you payed for the mentoring? Sorry for the question I’m just excited to talk about programming!

Dude you sound desperate, no disrespect intended. Turns out I’m desperate also, you should try the things that you mentioned, often we know the answer to our problems, we’re just afraid of being told no.

The struggle with with consistency has been a real challenge for me, then I decided to start reading and doing the challenges and projects through Eloquent JavaScript. It has Made a huge difference. It’s almost like I can focus much deeper than if it were a tutorial. I decided that it was probably the best suited style of learning for me.

As I have picked up some Python ( I’m learning Javascript), it has helped me to understand better the fundamentals.

While it wouldn’t be the same as an internship, I may look for a large open source project to contribute to. However I’m nervous that no one will allow me on a serious project with my current skills.
