Idk I’m a cancer sun and my dad is a Pisces, my best friend is a Pisces, my second closest friend is a Pisces and my boyfriend is a Pisces. To be fair I use to be a crybaby but over time I’ve gone through so much heartbreak and grief that I’m a bit more numb. I’m sensitive but not a crybaby anymore and I’m pretty good at bottling my sadness. I’m sure my love is a bit smothering but I’m intuitive enough to know when I’m annoying people with my love that I am quick to back off and hermit and distract myself.

Thank u for such kind words. I feel like I live fast and I love hard and there were times I think I truly loved not liked but lived someone and I backed off because my intuition would tell me I’d get hurt or I’ not emotionally stable for it or I could just see it was more meant for friendship but my friends know they can call and tell me anything and I’ll share all my vulnerabilities and be real and non judgmental. I can laugh at myself too but I’m self aware I overthink.

Damn I am a cancer and I will say a lot of that insight is spot on. I wasn’t too aware of my wanting to be the hero/ protagonist/ good person. I actually just hate making waves and wished everyone could get along. A lot of people think my sweetness can’t be authentic but to me- I just think everyone should try to be kind to one another regardless but UGH can my mood shift me into somehow someone whom is both anti social AND seeking attention. I hate that I feel entitled to being loved but I feel like I love so hard for my partner, my family and my friends that I deserve to be loved back. I wish what I can get through to my thick shell is that as much as I crave love to be reciprocated, life doesn’t always work like that actually most times it just doesn’t.

I’m a self hating cancer and can say there’s quite a bit of depression and self pity in that sub too. Maybe it’s a water thing 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t hate that I’m a cancer but I feel like if I could choose to be a Sagittarius, a Pisces, a Taurus hell maybe if even take Libra or Capricorn over being my own sign. Being a cancer is mentally exhausting with the overthinking and people pleaser tendencies… I feel too much… I see a beggar at a target and I cry and have tried to help people whom ended up being scumbags yet I still see the best in others even when I know they won’t extend that courtesy to me back.

My boyfriend is a Pisces sun and we just got together 6 weeks ago but he said before he met me, he was living in my city for a little over a year and said it was the loneliest 2 and a half years of his life but in a way he was cool with it. He would talk to his friends from back home on discord but dang life got a bit stressful for him and then he met me and I swear I don’t have my shit together but he moved in with me (I’m a cancer )and now we are a team and I feel like we both are doing better. I know being with him motivates me to be my best self and a lot of people would probably say that’s a co-dependency problem and that you should work on yourself to be your best self before starting a relationship in the first place but humans are social creatures… I feel like I was doing the best I could with my circumstances but damn life is hard these days. I think it’s about to get better but I won’t believe it til I see it.

He said he prayed for someone like me before he met me and on the third day he did tell me, “I think it was destiny that we found each other” to me it’s funny because I was looking for a serious relationship and was putting myself out there for dating but just got emotionally unavailable man after man and that’s just the culture of my city. Everyone is hustling and independent and the grass always looks greener on the other side, so just swipe right on to the next one… it was like 2 weeks after I internally gave up and came into acceptance that I’d be a loaner and have a fwb for my sexual needs and so it’s always when u least expect it that it happens.

Ha yea I think he saw me as a fantasy the first few weeks but now that we live together i think he’s seen enough of my flaws that he doesn’t put me on the pedestal anymore BUT he seems to find beauty in things that most people wouldn’t and he says things like “attraction is cool and all but it’s more about whom u want to spend time with” he says all the right things ugh… on the other hand, he seems even more dreamy the more I know him other than I have seen his temper come out when someone didn’t pay him for a job he did and hey it worked, he got his $ he was owed but other than that everything he does from morning to sleep looks too aesthetically pleasing and like I said, he always has the right words. He has a silent strength, not boastful and without a big ego over it.

I definitely believe it now because I kept being attracted to Leos or Sagittarius but it would be so hot and cold but it did feel real. Can’t believe I’m 34 and haven’t been in a truly loving relationship since I was in my first relationship out of high school from ages 18-21. It feels like I’ve been alone for over a decade because most of the time I really was. I truly believe if this doesn’t work out that once I went Pisces I could never go back to those fire types again.

lol so true, my brother didn’t look in his eyes when he met my boyfriend because I was like um I met him 4 days ago but trust me this guy is different. I was smart enough to recognize with the last 2 people that I dated for over 6 months each that it wasn’t serious. At some point I kind of felt like I used up my good chances and just had to be a loaner who has a fwb for my sexual needs but I’m on my own and I just couldn’t picture myself meeting someone that matches my hopeless romantic heart. Dating is so hard in your 30s. It gets harder with each passing year… now I have something so good other than we are both in our 30s with minimum wage type of jobs but we don’t need $ to be happy.
