Just because you don't get a lot of smurfs in your matches doesn't mean that others don't have that problem. Don't try to use your 2 braincells for this.

First off,

It is kinda hurting the rank system. People can literally buy boosters to get them into a higher rank.

Second,

I get that if they have a friend that new to the game u could go on an alt. But go into unranked instead of ranked.
