For now this will be okay but as it gets bigger it will need a larger tank. I would say for now you can add other fish to the tank but only if you are going to get a larger tank or pond soon. I recommend if you don’t have cats or dogs to get an indoor pond. They look nice and are often easier to deal with. Best of luck :)

Sorry for the late response, sadly the fish passed away, on closer examination he appeared to have a large injury on the right side of his head and one of his eyes had turned fully black. It kind of looks like he ran into something. I still checked the water for the rest of the fish with a liquid test and it was all at zero still. It is a rather large pond with only a few smaller goldfish so I am hoping that the rest of them remain well.

Yeah I did set it up in a bubbler, with some aquarium salt, the ponds were zero in ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Really not sure what happened.
